We had the most unforgettable experience at Jannata Resort and Spa, where we spent nine nights and celebrated our wedding. From the moment we arrived, we felt immersed in luxury and tranquility. The resort itself is breathtaking, set against the lush greenery of Ubud’s hillsides, with views that felt like a dream. The rooms were elegantly designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese charm – everything was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a paradise retreat. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome and special throughout our stay. Yuni (the wedding planner) took care of every wedding detail with flawless precision, turning our vision into a reality that surpassed our expectations. From the stunning floral arrangements to the beautifully set ceremony site, they truly crafted a magical setting for our day. Dining at Jannata was a delight. The restaurant served a variety of exquisite dishes that catered to every palate, with ingredients so fresh and flavors so rich that every meal felt like a new culinary adventure. The location of Jannata Resort is perfect. Our house was very close to the forrest and the feeling we had, especially in the morning, was just amazing. In the room everything was absolutely clean and well equiped. We could find there anything we needed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the plates looked like little artworks. The swimming pool was great, but unfortunatelly we tried it just twice, because our daily schedule was very busy. We hope next time we'll spend some more days enjoying the swimming pool and the view we could have while swimming. But above all, the people we met there remained in our hearts. The staff was very friendly and allways smiling and they did everything to make us feel confortable. In just three days spent there we lived a lot of beautiful moments, received good energy, made many unforgetable memories. And we learned that we can find friendship anywhere in this world, despite the fact that we live in different countries or on different continents, we speak different languages or have different religions. The resort and room was absolutely perfect - granted many stairs to get to it, but that's part of what made it feel like our own private villa in the jungle. It was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. My only note would be to have a bit of heat in the private pool because it was COLD, and we would have spent much more time in it if it was a bit warmer - but it was very refreshing for a quick plunge after a morning walk/workout. The grounds were beautifully taken care of and provided stunning jungle views left and right. The service was also always responsive and very warm and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to Ubud!

Glad I didn’t book a room with a pool since the main pool was big and never too busy. Spa services were exceptional. Close proximity to everything in Ubud via bike or taxi which are very cheap. We ended up staying at this hotel the whole time and travelled round the island from there which didn’t prove to be an issue. About an hours drive to most places. The highlight aside from the staff was definitely the view every morning waking up to a forest of palm trees which also meant it was always peaceful and quiet.
