Jannata Resort and Spa

Everything! The Jannata resort was absolutely beautiful! Every detail was meticulous. The spaces were open and stunning with gorgeous jungle views, and extremely well cared for. The staff were some of the sweetest and most helpful we’ve encountered in all of our travels around the world. We were traveling with our three teenage kids, and we got the two bedroom jungle pool villa, which was amazing! We each had our own dedicated bedroom with bathroom and balcony, and an additional living room area downstairs with an additional bathroom, which was perfect when you have five people staying together. The pool was refreshing and a wonderful place for all five of us to hang out together and the showers were hot and amazing!! The staff was also able to help us book drivers if we needed to go anywhere, but they also had a free shuttle service that takes you directly into the heart of Uber town, which was very convenient. The food and service were wonderful, and we could not have asked for a better stay! Highly recommend staying here!! We loved it!

The resort and room was absolutely perfect - granted many stairs to get to it, but that's part of what made it feel like our own private villa in the jungle. It was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. My only note would be to have a bit of heat in the private pool because it was COLD, and we would have spent much more time in it if it was a bit warmer - but it was very *refreshing* for a quick plunge after a morning walk/workout. The grounds were beautifully taken care of and provided stunning jungle views left and right. The service was also always responsive and very warm and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to Ubud!

We had the most unforgettable experience at Jannata Resort and Spa, where we spent nine nights and celebrated our wedding. From the moment we arrived, we felt immersed in luxury and tranquility. The rooms were elegantly designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese charm – everything was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a paradise retreat. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome and special throughout our stay. Yuni (the wedding planner) took care of every wedding detail with flawless precision, turning our vision into a reality that surpassed our expectations. From the stunning floral arrangements to the beautifully set ceremony site, they truly crafted a magical setting for our day. Dining at Jannata was a delight. The restaurant served a variety of exquisite dishes that catered to every palate, with ingredients so fresh and flavors so rich that every meal felt like a new culinary adventure. The spa treatments were rejuvenating, helping us relax and unwind after our celebrations. Jannata Resort and Spa is more than just a beautiful location – it’s a place where we created cherished memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t thank the team enough for their hospitality and dedication. For anyone seeking a luxurious stay in Ubud is a romantic destination wedding, we wholeheartedly recommend Jannata. It’s simply perfect.

Accommodation (2 Bed Villa with Pool) was brilliant for a family of 4 as it had loads of space and was very well maintained. View was incredible over the jungle. Location within long walking distance gf Ubud, but very tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle Staff were all excellent and very friendly, in particular Tama who also took us on a tour. In house restaurant very pleasant for breakfast and good for evening meal if you want to stay in

Beautiful grounds surrounded by jungle. Views of the valley. Fresh flowers placed everywhere. The attention of the staff was exceptional. The rooms are large and well appointed. Water in room, turn down service with cookies. Rooms are very private. Spa was lovely. Many freebies, we received a free 60 min massage. Positioned outside of Ubud. Takes around 30 mins to walk into town along the ridge walk or 15mins by free shuttle service. Plenty of taxis back if needed. Great restaurants and village close by. Try restaurant ‘Me’ to left (looking at hotel). Entertainment several nights. I miss this place already.
