Jannata Resort and Spa

The resort and room was absolutely perfect - granted many stairs to get to it, but that's part of what made it feel like our own private villa in the jungle. It was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. My only note would be to have a bit of heat in the private pool because it was COLD, and we would have spent much more time in it if it was a bit warmer - but it was very *refreshing* for a quick plunge after a morning walk/workout. The grounds were beautifully taken care of and provided stunning jungle views left and right. The service was also always responsive and very warm and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to Ubud!

We had the most unforgettable experience at Jannata Resort and Spa, where we spent nine nights and celebrated our wedding. From the moment we arrived, we felt immersed in luxury and tranquility. The resort itself is breathtaking, set against the lush greenery of Ubud’s hillsides, with views that felt like a dream. The rooms were elegantly designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese charm – everything was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a paradise retreat. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome and special throughout our stay. Yuni (the wedding planner) took care of every wedding detail with flawless precision, turning our vision into a reality that surpassed our expectations. From the stunning floral arrangements to the beautifully set ceremony site, they truly crafted a magical setting for our day. Dining at Jannata was a delight. The restaurant served a variety of exquisite dishes that catered to every palate, with ingredients so fresh and flavors so rich that every meal felt like a new culinary adventure. The spa treatments were rejuvenating, helping us relax and unwind after our celebrations. Jannata Resort and Spa is more than just a beautiful location – it’s a place where we created cherished memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t thank the team enough for their hospitality and dedication. For anyone seeking a luxurious stay in Ubud is a romantic destination wedding, we wholeheartedly recommend Jannata. It’s simply perfect.

Beautiful grounds surrounded by jungle. Views of the valley. Fresh flowers placed everywhere. The attention of the staff was exceptional. The rooms are large and well appointed. Water in room, turn down service with cookies. Rooms are very private. Spa was lovely. Many freebies, we received a free 60 min massage. Positioned outside of Ubud. Takes around 30 mins to walk into town along the ridge walk or 15mins by free shuttle service. Plenty of taxis back if needed. Great restaurants and village close by. Try restaurant ‘Me’ to left (looking at hotel). Entertainment several nights. I miss this place already.

The location of Jannata Resort is perfect. Our house was very close to the forrest and the feeling we had, especially in the morning, was just amazing. In the room everything was absolutely clean and well equiped. We could find there anything we needed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the plates looked like little artworks. The swimming pool was great, but unfortunatelly we tried it just twice, because our daily schedule was very busy. We hope next time we'll spend some more days enjoying the swimming pool and the view we could have while swimming. But above all, the people we met there remained in our hearts. The staff was very friendly and allways smiling and they did everything to make us feel confortable. In just three days spent there we lived a lot of beautiful moments, received good energy, made many unforgetable memories. And we learned that we can find friendship anywhere in this world, despite the fact that we live in different countries or on different continents, we speak different languages or have different religions. Jannata Resort is a magical place and the best resort in Ubud and all of Bali. Having stayed at various resorts throughout Bali, Jannata goes above and beyond is all areas but especially the service. My wife and I love Jannata so much we decided to get married there and had an amazing ceremony coordinated by their staff Didi and Yuni. Each room is tucked away in the lush forests with perfect views of the Ubud jungle and not a single house to be scene, you feel like you’re in paradise. The private villas with plunge pools are especially magical. The spa is also wonderful, we had great couples massages multiple times over the course of our stay. The food at Jannata was particularly good compared to other resorts in Bali we have visited. They do a great western breakfast with fresh squeezed juices, perfectly cooked eggs and awesome pineapple pancakes and crepes. The Balinese food for dinner was also delicious with a nice selection of grilled seafood and Balinese noodle and rice dishes. Our favorite part of the resort was the wonderful staff that made our stay so memorable. Over the course of a week, we really felt like we got to know the staff on a personal level. We cannot recommend this resort enough.
